Rendition +$40 About Our Finishes Embassy Portraits Embassy portraits are our most elegant and highest quality portrait option. The portrait is enhanced to bring out the subject through full retouching and minor artwork. Embassy wall portraits, 16x20 or larger, are printed on a canvas panel with a brush texture. Embassy portraits 11x14 are printed on the highest quality matte paper, sprayed with a linen texture spray and mounted on a masonite board. Masterpiece Portraits Masterpiece portraits receive deluxe retouching of blemishes on face, neck and shoulders and softening of lines and shadows under eyes. The Masterpiece portrait is coated with a rich semi-matte spray. This spray reduces glare and fading from UV exposure to stand the test of time. The 8x10 and smaller gift portraits are printed on the highest quality matte paper which and then coated with our premium portrait texture spray. The 11x14 and larger portraits are printed on a matte paper and mounted on a top quality art board ready for framing. Deluxe Portraits Deluxe portraits receive a moderate level of retouching of most blemishes on the face and neck and softening of lines and shadows under the eyes. Prints receive one coat of semi-matte spray. The 5x7 and larger portraits are printed on a top quality photographic paper. The 11x14 and larger portraits are mounted on art board and ready for framing. Basic Portraits Basic portraits are best suited for 8x10 gift portraits (or smaller) where cost is an important factor. They have no special sprays or texture. We do not recommend framing these portraits behind glass unless they have a mat to keep the photo from touching the glass of the frame.
